Seems to be connected to 5G now. No mention on their website yet about the enablement but they did stipulate first half of 2024.

Cool
Where are you located? I’m in Melbourne and don’t see it, unless I’m in a bad spot.
Im on felix unlimited and i just noticed now its 1am im connected to 5g
I was thinking it's something to do with my phone setting but it says on their website they are planning to bring 5g first half of this yearI’m on the unlimited plan and don’t see 5G yet.
Looking forward to the better pings and uploads.
The cat?
Showing your age buddy……
Could be a staged rollout? Or perhaps they're just doing testing with some customers.
What’s your location?
Brissy
Im in Melbourne and its still 5g sometimes it changes back to 4g+. 5g at the moment super fast no loading time on YouTube
No luck in west Sydney
It must be only at some parts of Australia has it active and only in certain suburbs.
The 5G is a little temperamental. So they're likely just testing with some customers before rolling out more broadly.
can anyone run a speedtest for those who have access to 5G on felix? especially the unlimted plan.
Noticed I had 5G on my Felix Unlimited this morning (Melbourne). Tested it and averages about 18mbps down/up.
Unlimited plans are capped at 20mbps regardless of 4G or 5G.
21/5Mbps 31ms ping
Fairfield NSW - IPhone 13 Pro - Unlimited PlanIt’s been great, also noticed a speed difference on 4G on my router too.
Western Sydney just has 5G reception
What plan are you on?
$25/25GB
Nice, was beginning to look like only the unlimited plan was getting it.
$30/50G plan, noticed my phone connected to 5G on Friday 17th May, speed test shows roughly 300mbps download and 50mbps upload, but 5G signal is very patchy and unstable, sometimes download speed can be as slow as 10mbps. Also 5G SA option on iPhone is still greyed out, meaning felix may not be utilising the full Vodafone 5G network, but limited to only the ones that are piggy back on LTE towers.
not for the unlimited plan
but does not matter, my 4g router only supports 4g
