  • Redbull Mobile
    $24ish / month for unlimited and 5GB.

Same network. (for better or worse)

Better than this one off "deal".

    You're welcome ;)

  • Awesome deal! But since I personally don't use much credit, my Crazy John's $15/90days prepaid is good enough for me :)

    • Is that still available. I looking one for my dad who came here for a visit for 5 months. He just need to have one for incoming calls. So I need one with long credit expiry. This one expires in 30 days.

    • I think ur getting confused with the $35/90day flat chat. No way does crazyjohns do 15$ for 90 days. Otherwise happy to be proved wrong with a link plz.

      • oh my, I see it has changed. Hmm, perhaps I won't be recharging with them when my credit expires

  • What's the maximum amount of data you can translate $450 of Voda credit into?

    • $2 per MB, casual rate applies, charged per 25kb.

  • Vodafone barley give prepaid customers coverage. Would like to know what a 3rd party provider gets

    • +1

      It's the same network dude…

If you're not getting coverage, you're either in a black spot (of which there are many), or your phone isn't compatible with the new 850MHz towers they're rolling out. A lot of the older and prepaid phones aren't…

    • Vodafone barley give prepaid customers coverage

Yeah sure, like Vodafone is checking your IMEI against the customer DB all the time to decide what level signal the tower should send you.

A friend and I used to joke about Vodafone hiring a flunky to twiddle the signal knob whenever we used our V2V minutes. But it was just a joke between us.

      • I'm sure they can do something,

As I'm on postpaid and few people at work on pre-paid who at time struggle to get a good signal.

Might be a phone issue if it was one person, but majority of people at work at on Vodafone. All on Post-Paid seem fine 99% of the time (in the Tullamarine area). Pre-paid customers 50% of the time get poor signal.

I personally don't mind Vodafone, since their upgrades all the areas I'm in the majority of the time works with no issues.

        • "Your phone isn't compatible with the new 850MHz towers they're rolling out. A lot of the older and prepaid phones aren't…"

      • Now you have a third person to join with you in your joke :)

        • Problem is only my friend is still with VF so only two if Danstar joins. :)

  • OK people,

I am sure by now we all know about Vodafone/fail etc what about using the energy/credits for finding bargains or calling/texting friends. :)
