I had a Smooth gimbal. Was nothing else on the market for anywhere near the price! The app was very basic, and it took some time to master the controls. Had to sell it because i upgraded the phone and it became just that bit too big…
Have just bought the Smooth 5S in the hope they have improved the software too!
The new ZY Play is a professional camera app designed for ZHIYUN stabilizer users, to enable a quick and simple way to use our stabilizers. By connecting to the app, you are able to fully explore the features of ZHIYUN stabilizers and is available on the Apple App Store and Google Play.

Do you have a gimbal compatible with a Nikon 7100 DSLR?
I still own my D7100, the video capability is not that great as per today's standard. I bought moza air cross gimbal and motor to control sigma 18 35, failed and returned it lol
Better upgrade camera first :/
Are the smooth gimbals for mobiles any good?
Bought a Zhiyun gimbal a while ago (not from Ted’s), and it only saw very occasional use. Stopped working just under a year in, but Zhiyun support was hopeless and kept stringing me along with bullsh*t questions and troubleshooting steps - until the warranty period expired and they stopped replying. In hindsight I could/should have dug my heels in for a fix or replacement, but at the time I was so fed up I just threw in the towel.
This was my EXACT experience.
Not sure how or why, but I got 10% off on top of the 50% sale.
Hopefully, the higher end/pro products are more reliable.
I had one of their early crane gimbals and it was by far the worst piece of tech I have experienced. Their app didn't work with android phones. Forums and social media pages all over the internet were asking for help. I hope they have fixed those issues since.
edit: it was the weebill lab for those playing at home.
