  Having bought several of these shirts over a few years they get tatty very quickly.

  Maybe 10 washes and my Japanese themed ones were already crinkled on the neck and sleeves, and I'm not maxing out either section.

  I tend to hang them folded in the middle on a portable drier so it's not that either.

  Think it's just the stitching or cotton used.

  Meanwhile my skate shirt from 2010s is still living strong, albeit borderline see thru, but I am yet to be arrested for indecency.

    Are you washing them with heat? They're 100% cotton so they should be cold washed.

      Nah I don't wash anything in hot.

      Bedding sometimes at 40-50C but it makes no real difference.

      All synth and cottons are cold.

    As a frequent Uniqlo shirt buyer, I agree, and it was never an issue as $15-20 was the normal price.

    Most shirts don't last that long though.

    the Uniqlo U cotton tees are the best quality Uniqlo tees

    They're plain rather than graphic too, which is a bonus imo

    But if you want a tee that really lasts, you need to invest in loopwheel tees
