Logitech G Pro Racing Wheel + G Pro Racing Pedals $1,784.92 Delivered (Save $314.98 on Separate Purchase) @ Logitech G

50

The deal isn't advertised or doesn't show up on the website as far as I'm aware. The Pro Racing Wheel and the Pro Racing Pedals are both listed on the Logitech website at $1499.95 and $599.95 respectively. However, when you add both items to the cart a 15% bundle discount is applied automatically bringing the total cost down to $1,784.92.

Individually works out at:
Logitech G Pro Wheel $1274.96
Logitech G Pro Racing Pedals $509.96

At the moment Gamesman is selling this bundle for $2,099 albeit with free logitech gloves thrown in. I'm sure with the $314.08 saving though you could probably buy yourself some decent racing gloves anyway :)

Mate at work got the newest one - G923 I think it’s called. Be interesting to compare it to the 10+ year old Direct Force GT I got for $50 off Facebook marketplace this year. I know it’ll be better but wondering if worth the upgrade.

Online reviews seem to say the G29 was not worth the upgrade

      • I had the Driving Force GT back on the PS3 and now have the G923, it's a solid upgrade but I wouldn't say it's a night and day difference. Fair bit quieter than I remember the GT being, though to be fair I'm normally using headphones these days, and the haptics work pretty well.

        • Ooh thanks heaps for the review. I’ll stay put on the DFGT then.

Family and work commitments don’t all much time to play anyways. When I do get time, I’m hotlapping the Nurburgring or doing LA Canyons (traffic servers) - Assetto Corsa.

Yeah I was going to buy that with the Clubsport V3 pedals but the pedals don't mount on the Logitech Playseat Challenge X and I'm cbf MacGyvering them on.

From what I've read the Logitech set comes with all the spring and elastomer customisation for brake and accelerator that with Fanatec you need to buy separately. Also the QR2 mod so the wheel doesn't come off is effectively included in the Logitech. Plus the trueforce feedback seems to be the biggest game changer on the Logitech.

      • The brake performance mod for Fanatec pedals is quite cheap. If you wish to fine tune further, there are cheaper alternatives for hydraulic dampeners such as 3d printed ones than compared to fanatecs offering.

If the QR2 mod here is referencing Fanatec, i still use metal qr1 on my wheels with the podium wheelbase and i do not see an issue.

For those Macgyver fans haha I did exactly that with me V3's and the Challenge X.

        Here's what i used.
The holes line up to the V3 holes when the pedal platye is mounted as shown in the picture it's just that you need the extension which is what the metal plates are for.

        Total cost = $14.65

        • Thanks for the links. I saw your post on Reddit actually with the same setup. Do the pedals move at all with that setup? How fixed is it? It'd piss me off if it even moved a millimetre

          • @4foxache: The way i have it in the picture it does but only cause it should really be flipped with the metal plates that bridge the gap on the inside closest to you in the seat not the outside like it is where it gets pushed on the most. I didn't realize till it was put together and been too lazy to change it.

It wont flex any more than the Logitech pedals if you use the same KG on the load cell, they are both bolted to the metal plate not dodgy like the OP did on that Reddit post with hose clamps.

A proper sim rig is needed if you really want no flex anywhere but that requires the extra space.

Fanatec's situation is a mess right now, I wouldn't order from them

        • Ordered CSL v2 elite pedals from them last week, shipped in under 2 days.. mate ordered damper kit for his v3's, delivered today.. Not all is lost lol

        • I recently ordered GT DD Extreme and V2 pedals arrived in about 3 days . (PS5 + PC)
          Very happy with them

          • @sagerhead: How is the extreme going? Tossing up between this and the extreme…

            • @Stigasaurus: Really good. I upgraded from a logitech G29. Wanted PS5 + PC
Direct drive does cost a lot more than the gear driven ones but much nicer to drive.Glad I did the upgrade
Really like the V2 pedals too.
Fanatec service was really good for me. Bought in Feb 2024

          Agreed

I ordered about $3700 worth of stuff from them on November 25th admittedly with some preorder items I didn't anticipate to receive until 2024 and after 4 months of waiting I gave up and cancelled. The preorder items had become available and new orders were being processed but for whatever reason mine just didn't move and there was no response from customer service. Cancelling meant I missed out on the Black Friday deals I had taken advantage of. I also saw a lot of people posting issues with receiving partial orders or having to deal with customer service for RMA issues etc and things not working, being told to wait for driver updates.

In the end I spent far too much time stressing about it and following the forums etc for any morsel of information. Once they dismissed the CEO and the company stock plummeted I figured it was safer to just get my money back and go for something like this Logitech bundle. I'm yet to get around to setting it up as I need to clean up a room, something I was planning to do once my Fanatec order finally started moving… The Logitech gear arrived very quickly and I have just had too much on in the meantime, hopefully I'll get there soon.

    • You'd have to be crazy to touch fanatec at the moment..

So many equal options out there from companies that aren't about to collapse

  • Wow

  • Any know of any deals on just the wheel?

It’s been $1243 on the Gamesmen eBay late last year but not anywhere near that since.

    • $1234 would have been better

    • It says free shipping on returns so I guess nothing stopping you from buying both then just returning the pedals

  • Where are the chinese fans from the logitech pro x2 deal. Any alternative on this? 🤣🤣

  • Cost more than my car

  • this or a car?

    • Car needs insurance, registration and licence to drive.

    • The real question is: this or a set of track tyres?
