Just for curiosity, do you have one?
Yes, onto my second one. The first one would drain a battery in 1-2 weeks, amazon swapped it for a new one which has much longer run time but both of them exhibited the terrible updating behavior I explained before.
Try moving the ESP32 to closer to the sensor so the Bluetooth does not have to travel far. Let the Ethernet or wifi to do the work. Cheers
Works fine for me with a proxy. Used it all summer and updated quite frequently.
I have an ESP32 proxy poolside and this has worked perfectly all through summer. It controls solar heating and pings every 30 seconds or so.
Only used 30% battery over 4 months before I winterised the setup.
These do the job but like all Chinese junk products you will be lucky to see 2-3 years before buying a new one.
Very good but drains batteries fast later on
These do not work in HA, well, that's a lie, it'll maybe show up once, and never update, even with the ESP32/Bluetooth proxy poolside.
