Sustainable Food Based Experience in an Ecolodge

My uni assignment is asking us to ask the opinion of others regarding sustainable food based experience that would be done by an EcoLodge, which would connect guests to their surroundings and/or locally sourced produce.

The location of the ecoLodge is at Mt Nelson Tasmania and it currently doesn’t exist (it’s just a proposal)

What are your thoughts, is this something that is good/bad/wild/achievable/crazy?

What introduced pests exist near the lodge that you can eat? That pest would be suitable IMHO.

Are you doing one of the free University of Tasmania courses?

    Undergrad certificate in sustainable living?

Just use chatgpt or copilot for ideas and go from there.

Your uni assignment is to just dream up anything then ask others if it would work?

Go bold. Propose an ecolodge on the moon with a fart powered space elevator. It'll get more interesting responses.

    • I'd like one of those in my place, now just gotta get a fart powered bike……

Report back with “I asked an array of individuals in my extended network and I think it’s best if we run the ecolodge on Eneloops”

So… do we all get a Pass as a Team?

  • Its an applied design, and the creative brief was to investigate a possibility on running a food based experience, gathering input from others, to form an empathy map collectively.

I do do my own research, but the idea of empathy maps is to collect data, and to possibly reinvent the creative brief topic after data collection and go down the ideation route after that.
