Nowadays we quite often come across issues with certain retailers or online stores not providing the product/service as per the industry standard. The most discussed way of resolution is to contact ACCC. I would like to know if anyone has ever tried to use ACCC for resolving the issue and were they successful or not ? Just trying to find out if ACCC is really helpful for resolving the issue or its just a card which customers can use to put pressure on the retailers.

The ACCC will generally not act unless they get multiple complaints of a serious breach.
Single, individual complaints are often just noted and not acted upon.
