AAMI increased my premium by 30%, tried honey, even with $100 gift card, AAMI is still cheaper.
Any other recommendation for a residential unit building insurance?

Since SGIC left town, NRMA is the new kid on the block, or rather Flinders St.

Have you tried Budget Insurance?
Aami has always been cheapest for me unfortunately,
New policies are always cheaper because you’re a new customer. Maybe switch to another insurer and get a new quote from AAMI, it might be cheap. Worth a shot. Don’t have a plan B, if new policy is more expensive than renewal but IMO that’s unlikely
NRMA up 25%, but still within $50 of the cheapest against five others I tried. We were an SGIC customer so have been transferred across. Claimed in our first year with SGIC and process was easy so staying until can get significantly cheaper
.
Always look for an eGift Card offer for home insurance, meet the requirements, pay monthly, and change the insurer. I don't know if it's a good idea. I change my insurer every 2 months. So far Coles, St George, Australian Unity, Greater Bank (currently). I will change it to Westpac next month :)
Allianz ? GIO.. list goes forever.
residential unit building insurance? Do you have a bodycorp?
