I was waiting for that, ended up ordering 55" S90C (bye bye Dolby Vision) while stock lasted for $1400, waiting for delivery now.

The G3 is way better for a little more money. I'd pass on the C3 and go the G3.

The G3 at $4756 as linked above is a very solid price that should have been included in this deal, and probably deserves it's own post / thread. OP overlooked it.
Stock in my area is limited to display models which is to be avoided!
My LG oled has over 9500 hours with no burn in at all!
If it looks ok in store after a static burn in test, I'd buy a demo oled.

Yes, G4 also has LG Display's second-gen MLA+ panel tech where the G3 (55", 65", 77") had first-gen MLA. Difference is slightly higher peak brightness on G4. G4 is also 144Hz where G3 was 120Hz.
But most reputable reviewers say the differences are negligible unless viewed directly side-by-side. Phil over on AVForums said there's little reason to upgrade if you've got a G3, and Rtings said outright to just buy a runout sale G3 with G4 at their current launch prices.
80"+ OLED for $2K when? Prices have been stagnant for years.

Only display models for G3 77 remain in SA JB's unfortunately, and it looks like LG's website is saying out of stock :( time to pray the G4 has an early sale event, or they magically find more G3 stock.

77" G4 is currently $5354 on LG site with education discount.
A lot of us were waiting for the C3 42" to come down to $999 or thereabouts. Unfortunately it seems LG managed to offload all their stock a few weeks ago and avoid hitting discounted prices from the year before.
Now the waiting cycle for C4 42" to come down begins, I guess :-(
