Why Are My eBay Items No Longer Eligible for Promo Codes?

Hey guys, been selling for a while on eBay now - not a huge amount of items, but a few every month.

For as long as I remember, my items were always eligible for promo codes ($100 off $1000 spend, $70 off $500 spend etc etc).

Suddenly my items are no longer working with promo codes - anyone have any ideas why?
Nothing has changed from my end.

    Short of using a different account via a VPN it is not possible to buy your own items on eBay.
    But, if I am wrong then please tell me how as I would love to do it to ramp bid prices on some of my auction items

      Shill bidding is easy… different accounts, separate device and location.
      
      Skimming ebay funded promos on fvf free listings is a bit harder.

I’ve noticed the same thing over the last few days or so, not sure what the reason is, the codes were showing a week ago.

basivcally they offer you deals to get you selling. Once your a regular customer they dont want to offer you deals. Start selling on marketplace instead for a while and the deals may come back

i have same issue. and sometimes only some of my listings advertise….. its random AF
