Is this a good investment set? With 8 unique minifigures included, and being the very first set from Dune films.
1369 pieces for $200 seems like bad value to me.
Pretty good price for the set if you love Dune, but the set itself seems way overpriced.
they are large pieces though, you should see the scale of it on the shelves in the product pictures.
It's currently on a desk next to me with the wings closed as when open it takes up sooo much room.

Hoping it'll be a good investment. I'm still living off the Lego Tie Fighter helmet I bought for $50 on sale for an xmas present that I decided to never give away. Now it's worth probably $400-450 in mint condition unopened.

I recently got my 7 year old on lego and we starting with speed champions them moving on to technic.
K-mart stock levels shockingly inaccurate. In my area it was OOS, but I went into store and they checked their PDA and there were 10 in stock at a local store up the road. Worth going into your local to double check (I also got an instock email today from Kmart - which is probably why Amazon have lowered theirs).
Kmart now slap these fugly security stickers that you can't take off on the box, really annoying.
Must get around to building it one day ..maybe… just too awesome.
