Anyone bought anything as a bargain? seeing how and if to bother using the $30 cashback on to AMEX?

CHatted online and asked for a pricematch. the agent just goes - sorry can't price match…

So… is it just a misleading and deceptive conduct saying they will price match??

Or is it will price match - if it pleases them?

NOTE: i have noticed also now that David Jones price matches (much like Myer/Grace Bros).. could be handy if you have a DJs nearby…

I have used their online negotiation option couple of times but they never did a price match..but as per their website they do it..

Well, I went into a store a couple of years ago with a printout of a new model (showing a price) of DVD player. They had received shipment only a day or two before. The guy gave it to me for either the same price or slightly cheaper (can't remember now) - but he said it was below their cost.
