You get a free one month gold when you create a new profile don't you?
Unless you want is game(?) of course…only the first 2 or 3 times on each console, after that you don't get the free month no matter how many new accounts you make.

Watergardens store has none of this particular bundle, they are selling the game for $44 and when I asked about this they said oh na got none of those ones left.

Robina originally showed "in Stock" on the website.
That's how i ended up at Stafford (was driving to Brisbane from the Gold Coast for a function near Stafford!)

I checked at my local BigW & they sell it for 1 cent only when bundled with a console (i.e. U have to buy Xbox console to get the game for 1 cent).

well then they really shouldn't be advertising it as a separate product for $0.01, with its own product code "BIGW_8314328" a tad misleading, making us think that we can get a game (that usually sells for $44) and an xbox live subscription (usually around $10?) for $0.01!!
Now the big question is can I be fagged physically getting up and going to a Big W…

Can anyone confirm that they've actually purchased this? A receipt would be nice :) I don't wanna go down to my local store (not so local considering how far away it is) only to be rejected because it's a pricing error or something lol
It doesn't say anything about having to buy an xbox to get this deal on their website…really tempted to take a printout to my local store and see if i can get them to honor the online deal :P

Just walked out of the store with my game after paying 1c on my Visa!

went to my local big w, they said it came in a bundle not separately, i argued that it says nothing about a bundle on the site, he showed me their upcoming catalogue where it does say its part of a bundle, they even had separate product codes!! My complaining was to no avail, they would not budge. They even admitted it was a "huge mistake" by someone. Very poor form by big w. This is the second time something like this has happened to me at big w, not impressed! It's their error so they should honor it!! :(
OK so here is how it went down:
Wife rang to see if they had in stock - Answer yes
Asked if they can put one aside - Answer yes
Asked what it scanned up at - Answer $44 ish
Told them about the online deal…
Then the to-and-fro-ing began…!
None-the-less we pointed out that clearly the website made no mention of any other purchase required…..
They said they would need to get back to us….This is when I figured then would come up with a game plan to NOT offer the deal…
But they rang back and said - Deal done!!

P.S. did u get the 1 month xbox live card aswell? or just the game, the receipt seems to only mention the game?
I was initially interested in the deal for the gold month membership for 1c!
I figured it was in the box? Maybe I got duped in the end by only getting the game?!?
Is it likely (the card) to be in the dust jacket?umm from my limited experience with xbox and xbox games, new games do sometimes come with a live membership but its usually only a 24-48 hour membership. I could be wrong and this could be an exception or some special bundle…And the cards are usually where the game manual/instructions are.
I think it is meant to be a package, so you would grab a one month card as well as the game and pay for it like that.
Keyword of "&" makes me assume it isn't physically in the box :P
Maybe take your receipt back and ask for the month card?

Actually the cashier said she did not want ANY money! She said how do I charge you 1c? I told her I will pay by credit card. Mostly because I wanted the 1c receipt to post here!!!!
wow…now that's customer service! LOL, wish the employees at rouse hill (nsw) big W were as nice…If i do end up getting this i'd give them a 5 cent coin and say "keep the change"!!! LOL
I called up a store, 100% confirmed they had 17 copies, price checked it and everything, was $0.01 said he would hold the 17 copies. Got there (Halfway across canberra) and they couldnt find any, they came back, said the guy made a mistake and thought the 14 copies ($44 version) were what I wanted. So I complained to the manager, he said they DID have the $0.01 in stock, but he told them not to sell to me. So they ended up lying to me…. :/
Went to another store, they confirmed it was with a console, however they sold me the $44 copy and gave me a 3month gold promo card they had lying around for free! (Old promo stock, had a one month but the nice guy gave me a 3 month instead, apparently theyve been giving them to randoms for months)
wow $44? no offence mate but that game isn;t even worth half of that (you can actually find it elsewehere online for under $20, and 12 months of xbox live gold is available under $40 aswell..so getting the game and 3 months of gold for $44 isn't exactly great value (unless you really wanted the game ofcourse…in that case good for you :P)
(The trick being, Im gonna return the game :P
