  • The wifi feature is a bit of an afterthought I agree. I have a similar model and there is only one “slight convenience” with app control is that it enables setting the temp and time quickly (once the app is already running in the background). I find that the manual control on the panel is rather slow doesn’t speed up fast enough when holding the button down. I know it’s a first world problem but trying to set timer at 35 mins either require rapid 35 taps (which doesn’t register well when too fast) or hold down the button for about 10 seconds.

    Firstworldproblems I do agree. Also bad UI is not an excuse to use the app - but I wished I bought one with digital dials or those with control panel pointing at an angle. But I am overall happy with my Philips as it does the actual cooking job well.
