Everyday Pay Stopped Working for Days. Here Is a Temporary Fix

I've noticed everyday pay stopped working since the middle of this week.
Nothing have been fixed and I can't access my Woolworth's gift cards. Store manager knows nothing as usual.

Just want to share a temporary fix. Clear cache and data in app settings, re-login, then you will find your gift cards back in Wallet.
Copy your gift card numbers and PIN to somewhere else before it disappear again. QR code payment is still unavailable.

    Everyday Pay and the gift card wallet stopped working for me on Tuesday night.

    I just noticed that v24.7.1 was pushed out for the Everyday Rewards app (3 hours ago on iOS, two days ago on Android). Updating to this version has restored access to my gift card wallet, but Everyday Pay is still down.

    • I'm on Andriod, v24.7.1. Couldn't access my gift cards before I clear cache & data and re-login.

    They are not IT support for EDR.

    On iOS, deleting the app and re-installing it did not fix the issue.
    Now there is a permanent outage banner.

    Yesterday they said it will be back up and running within 48 hours.

    Got in touch with them yesterday, response I got was that IT were working on the APP, but there was no definite timeline on the fix. They also added 1000 points for inconvenience caused due to not being able to access eGift Cards on the APP.

    • Annoyed enough i want to wrestle something out of them. Had a very circular conversation with everyday rewards support who wouldn’t do anything except repeat 'IT is an external department'

      Did you get it from everyday rewards or a different help section?

        Used the Chat Now option on Everyday Rewards website, explained that I went to use my eGiftCards to pay for groceries the day prior, but wasn't able to as Everyday Pay wasn't available. That's when the agent said they'd credit me 1000 points for the inconvenience and to let them know if I wasn't able to see my Gift Cards in the APP when it eventually was working (which as of earlier today, it wasn't).

        • Didn’t offer me anything, just told me to call the everyday pay department.
          They said it’s working if you reinstall, I reinstalled and it’s not working. He said it is.
          Went back to the chat, told them what happened and they apologised but it’s not their department so they can’t help.
          No offer of points, flat out refused when I asked for any as compensation for the inconvenience.

    Thank you so much for posting. I was almost in tears trying to work out what to do. My gift card had disappeared but this simple fix saved my sanity … in the meantime, I am waiting for a response from the team.

  • Everyday pay is offline but the gift card wallet still works - turns out this wasn't a server problem, they proactively shut it down due to scammers.

  • I just got this message from Everyday Rewards "Chat Online":
    "Sorry about the wait, Just contacted the team at everyday pay. Unfortunately this is still a case that is going under investigation. I do apologize about the delay of this process and any inconvenience caused.What I can suggest is to contact Gift Cards to access the gift cards to enter them manually instore. They can be contacted through 1300 101 234 - Option 3."
