My property gets a lot of spiders around it.
I started using the sprays from Bunnings but they were rubbish. I then started getting the house professionally sprayed but they only last around 2 months until the spiders came back and it's too expensive to get it done every few months. So, I was thinking of just buying something myself to do it myself.
Does anyone have any recommendations?

Mix & spray outside, it leaves a dry residue on the surface.
Dust also works well, though you'd need an applicator to use it.

I found that thoroughly draught proofing the house stopped most spiders and other critters from getting inside.
And then after you find a chemical spray that gets rid of the spiders, you'll be back here looking for another chemical spray that gets rid of the buzzing and biting insects. The ones the spiders ate.
Maybe OP is not actually wanting poison to kill spiders.
Do professionals use sprays to kill pests or deter them? I thought they only had sprays that would kill pests.

This always works, try it every 6 months, even if the product says every 3 months.
These sprays are complete garbage and don't stop spiders from getting inside the house.

Problem at my place is somehow they come through the bathroom vents. Have had the place sprayed twice about eight months apart by a professional who does inside and out, including in the roof. Hoping it will knock the buggers out permanently. It's a pyrethran-based spray apparently, and OK for asthmatics.
I use mortein gel spray bought when it's on special. Keeps most insects out. You have to do it every 3 months, but worth it because no insects. I only get the occasional spider coming in on the firewood.
