Alright, back again with a Post for all the Björk fans on OzBargain (see what I did there).

Here we have Björk's 1995 album Post for under $50, had a look around and the cheapest in stock option was $55 plus delivery so a decent deal for all those Prime members who can't do local pick up.
Going off Discogs this may be the 2021 or the 2022 reissue.

this ebay listing at $33.81 delivered is a real bargain, only 3 left tho

Ah forgot about bloody eBay, yeah that's damn good price with free delivery from Chalkys Oz in the UK and all, have to wait over a month for it though, whereas this is local stock and covered by Amazon if you need to return it if it's warped.

What's even more bizarre is Chalkys Oz wants $60.03 + 18.99 delivery under the Amazon deal I posted….weird?

Great albumen, got on CD at the time.

This one, Debut and Homogenic. Lost interest after that and when fairly downhill imo.

    • Vespertine is IMO her best album, and it came out after those three. Lots of gold on it.

      • Oh yeah that one too. Then lost the plot I think.

it was $39 for the whole month last month and few more times before that this year along…. whats with average vinyl posts lately?

You'll have to excuse me, I'm new to posting vinyl deals.
Considering it's under the $50 mark and now it seems to be$10-$15 cheaper than everywhere else if you have Prime and I missed the $39 deal, should I not've posted this "deal"?

      • +1

its a small discount deal not really a bargain

        • -7

Actually it's $20 more expensive where it's in stock including postage. Ah so vinyl has to be discounted by 50% to be a bargain? Right…got it🙄.

Before she was famous she used review tech on youtube.

Probably one of my top 3 albums ever this one. I'd love to get into buying and playing records but I'm guessing it's probably a money pit. I've got a decent set of edifier powered speakers that I could use but have no idea where to start. And my budget would be pretty small. Maybe I'll stick with decent headphones and Spotify. :)

Just get Tidal hi-fi (pretty reasonable if you live in Thailand), or CD which is the best format media. Everything else like cassettes and LPs are for nostalgia, but I can see how you'd get addicted coming across all these releases again. At least it would extend people's attention spans so you would listen to at least half an alum (vs instant streaming and random selections.

If you really like music, get a turntable, not a suitcase turntable either, wait for a cheap Audio Technica deal of some sort.
How small of a budget are you talking?
Don't' bother with CD's, it's almost the same as streaming but you're stuck with what's on the CD instead of finding yourself FLAC or WAV files, digital is digital if you ask me.

Maybe you should stop giving advice no one asked for, and arguing ad nauseam over small points of difference in personal preference, it's really quite concerning. No one walks after being on this site & reflects on comments made/read, so you're only wasting your own time.

    Great album

Yet ANOTHER $47'ish vinyl record for a 'deal'. Kinda seeing a pattern here…. EVERY $47 record is a deal. Becoming the new norm imo.
Nearly every vinyl advertised lately has been $47. So is this really a 'deal'???
And for this boogy flicking monster!??

Wow, I still have Björk's autograph. I met her briefly in a sports store I worked in London in the early 90's.

    • +1

That's cool.. saw her at Festival Hall back in the day, and somewhere else another time.

  • I'm guessing a lot of fans have never heard of this album - Gling Glo

I've always said nobody should ever attempt to cover a Bjork song, but that was before I heard Kali Uchis.
