depends what Special GC you have. if it was Woolies, then you can just split transaction at POS
I have the super shopper. I tried using them at Woolies and they won't work last time.
Yeah Woolies was taken off Super Shopper like last year I think. Anyway try splitting transaction in Big W or Kmart

My comment is in response to djsydney how they could use the remaining few dollars off a Super Shopper card.
The Super Shopper card was retired recently, so you cannot buy it any more.

It means it will be shortly rejected. Special is a bit hit and miss when ordering.

I had to press "view all" and then scroll all the way to the bottom of the page, past all of the big deals at the top to find it.
Super Shopper gift card seems no longer available. What's the next most versatile one?
My approach is purchasing a Woolworths one and can either liquidate quickly into a wish gift card (means my $100 is locked at WW group places) or buying a different gift card from Woolworths like an Apple one. The special card is just a contactless card so payment is just like using a normal card hence the normal can't purchase a gift card using a gift card rule doesn't apply.
So you can use Special Woolworths "prepaid" contactless card to buy those 20X points gift card deals?
Yes, as far as Woolworths is concerned using the special giftcards at the check out is the same as any other credit/debit card payment.
That is my plan! (and yes, I've bought the Wish gift cards this way with the Special Woolies cards before)
