Looks like they were down to USD $74.50 so this deal is pretty on par.
The case is a little clunky
The case is my biggest complaint. I find them very easy to drop while opening and a little awkward to hold when the cover is open. Could be just me.
But everything else is great.
1More Comfo Buds Pros have been my main for 1.5 years, the sound is so flat and boring for metal. The case and inserting/removing is great though.
These would be an upgrade for metal - lots more bass and sub-bass, for starters.
That said, if you're on Android there are equaliser apps that might fix that.
As for the case… imagine if the Comfo Buds case was square, and had a button on the lid you had to push down with your thumb to open. Except that if you put your thumb a touch too high it'll block the lid from opening.
Here's the product tag that OP might want to include.
https://www.ozbargain.com.au/product/anker-soundcore-liberty…I love mine.
They rank among top noise cancelling earbuds costing 3x more.
The sound quality is also life changing.I thought all the glowing reviews were over hyping them but they are just that good, especially for the price.
Got some about a month ago. Brilliant
How does the transparency mode compare to AirPod pro 2? And does it fall out during cycling or running?
I wouldn't recommend them for running. Sweat and jiggling around would interfere with the noise cancelling seal.
run all the time with mine. they are perfect. better fit than most i have tried. no issue with the noise cancelling at all.
Extra $10.64 off because I am going overseas next week and already have to wait in TRS line for GST on my Fold 3 refurb (my original fold 3 refurb suddenly got dead pixels)
So that's like $107.xx - lol. My current buds don't have ANC and I want the translation AI buds Samsung will launch in July but need something lots of airplane travel in July-August too.
Sound guys review was very convincing.
https://www.soundguys.com/anker-soundcore-liberty-4-nc-revie…I think you need to spend min $300 per business to claim TRS.
I got these for about the same price. Excellent buds in this price range and even outperforms more expensive ones. Earfun Pro 3s are almost as good and are regulary on sale for $70 with aptX rather than LDAC
I already have Soundcore Life P3 buds and was considering these for the LDAC support.
does this have good mic filtering for calls?
can you use only 1 earbud to listen?Yes and yes
recently had a really good warranty expeirence with my soundcores. had some issues with my case, no questions asked and a replacement sent out within a week or two
Also agree re quality of earbuds, bought some 2 months ago.
I do find they move around a bit, I use the biggest earbud tips and they seal the best but are prob a touch too big. When I use the next size down the buds are ever slightly too small and then the seal isnt as good.
Will look for a foam tip replacement.
I use these foam tips on my Liberty 4 (non-NC) and they work great. I assume it should fit the NC too. Make sure to get spares as foam doesn't last as long as silicone.
https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005003716743537.htmlLegend thank you, although the NC have more an oval opening to attach, these look more rounded?
Mine are also oval. The tips can stretch.
FFS, just bought. I'm trying to save. The reviews sound good.
I'm contending with the kids Airpods.
There should be a Royal Commission into the indoctrination of our kids into the Apple ecosystem via schools.
Apple doesn't have a place on ozb! 😁
Had two different soundcores, these and the Space A40, might be just my ears but both have very sharp hissing kind of treble. Turning down treble on the EQ helps but it's still there. I'm ordering regular non-NC liberty 4, hopefully they don't have that problem.
I bought these after a bunch of research last year. They've been excellent for noise cancelling on planes, and for running without caring about sweat. Original RRP bloated to compete with bigger brands but this price is great
I bought these from Amazon a couple of months back at $125.70 and thought they were great value then. Strong connection, good noise cancellation (I love the way the adaptive cancellation shuts down one audio band at a time - almost like each sound is winking out around you) and great sound - if a little bassy by default. That said, it has an on-board DSP, so you can either pick one of their 20 or so tunings, or adjust the equaliser yourself. The case is a little clunky, though - and they take square silicone earbuds rather than the usual round ones.
For context, I think these are better in terms of sound quality and noise cancelling than the 1More Comfo Buds Pros I had, which in turn were better in both categories than the Liberty Air 2 Pros.
