Not bad. Dedicated chain oils have less fling.

Maybe you need to sharpen your chain. There shouldn't be shit flinging everywhere. There should just be coarse strands of wood exiting below the chain towards the ground.
Sounds like the oil flow is a smidge high, engine oil has a lower viscosity than bar oil allowing it to come out a lot easier. Turn the bar oil adjustment screw down until you get a minimal amount of oil flinging onto the ground.
Use on a bike?
