Hi everyone,
Has anybody used smartuser multi head split system under the VEU program. It seems like they are installing 3 units (8KW+5KW+3KW ) for 22/week for 3 years. Total cost is $3432 including install.
The brand that they are using is TCL. Some people mentioned on Reddit and ozbargain old post saying it’s noisy.
Has anybody used them ? What’s the review like.

I have contacted about 10 places trying to replace gas heating with multi split system.
Most of them offer TCL or Media. I heard TCL is the worst and Media is half decent.
One company offered Gree multi split for $3600 and TCL for $3000. Apparently, Gree is better than TCL and Media, but I'm no expert.
Brands like Mitsubishi, Panasonic and Daikin come at a premium, like $5000-7000, and cost the same as putting 3 single splits without a rebate. No savings there.

It was Metro Heating & Cooling.
Ended up not going with any. I'm going to wait for standard split system deals.
I would get the information sheets to check what the decibels the units are. You'll also want to see where you place the external unit. Not sure how they provision it but you most likely won't be able to 3 units on full blast all at once.
Depending on your property type (and space) consider getting 3x individual units. Because if your outdoor unit goes then all 3 heads are going to be not working. You might also find smaller units are more energy efficient per kw of electricity consumed.
