For if you own objects but don't know how to live with them.

No but it's a pretty in depth book on interior design, where to get stuff and how to style them if you're into this stuff. RRP $140. The cover is great and makes a pretty good looking coffee table book as well.

I thought it would be mostly photos but it has tons of information.

Here is a digest of the book taken from the product page. Save yourself $69.38.

Simply surrounding yourself with objects you love.

Corollary: Do not buy things that you do not need or love, such as this book.

Did you read the book or is this an assumption?

Honest question, as I'm considering ordering the book.

      • The digest is supplied by Amazon from unknown source. It was not my assumption or conclusion.

        • I was referring to you saying that this book is not needed (nor loved), but I get now it was merely an assumption. Perhaps you're blindly right, not saying you can't be, but I was hoping for details.

          Anyway…

You could buy a nice watch for that kind of money which is a very pleasant object to live with.

Surely there is an AA type group for the watch obsessed🤣

From a happy non watch wearer

      • Yes there are lots but the biggest one is probably Watchuseek.

        • Was worried your link might lure me into a naughty Watch Fetish site 👀

You Watch people are definitely obsessed🤣

I meant… to CURE people of their Watch Obsession, like AA tries to do with alcoholics😷

Not promote it by posting people's favourite watches & personal collections on Watchuseek!😜

Most searches on the topic of Watch Obsession lead to self-serving brand sites promoting their watches to sell to the Watch Obsessed!!🤣

I've seen too much… Off for a scrub myself down in a cold shower😖

    • I know I’m going to be accused of blasphemy but I didn’t wear a watch for years until Apple lured me back to the dark side with their Dick Tracey watch.

How to Live with Optus: A Guide to More Meaningful Internet (when their backend systems are not self-destructing and they're trying to Hardcover themselves)

  • Perfect timing, because I was just told that my living conditions are not "hallmarks of being an adult."

    • Yes that room full of watches is a waste of space. I can come around & help you clean it out if you want?

No, a room with a few shelves of whisky, some A/V gear, and a childhood "toy" that is clearly on display, but apparently I play with it all the time and that's like, super cringey for a grown man. Check my recent comments if you want to lose some brain cells.

@bdl: Yeah he can't say that & not tell us what the toy is now?
