70

Hi all! Second time posting.

Saw this when looking to renew my data plan. Purchased mainly for the 10% off.

Cashrewards standard cashback rates: $11.50 on $170 plan, $13 on $220 plan. Shopback also has the same offer although slightly different.

Mod note: Deal title should not include standard cashback rates. Cashback rates should not be mentioned in the title unless it is a special rate or new cashback offer.

  • Do these have to be activated immediately?

This won’t work for recharges. New device/customers only.

Cashback is eligible for customers buying a new service (SIM or eSIM) and new sign-ups (new customers).

Cashback is limited to two prepaid services per member per month, provided they are purchased across separate transactions. Cashback is paid on only one plan/item per order/transaction, regardless of the number of plans/items purchased on that order/transaction.

Service must be activated within 30 days of purchase and remain active for at least 30 days to be eligible for cashback.

Cashback is ineligible on the following:

    Recharges to existing services.
Purchase of gift cards or use of gift cards for full or partial payment.
Purchases using coupon codes not listed on Cashrewards.
Items that are cancelled, returned, exchanged or refunded.
    Fraudulent transactions.
Purchases using any type of discount which lowers price advertised on the Merchant site, including but not limited to employee discounts, student discounts and price-matching

  • Can you port out and port in if you’re already using this service?

  • So this uses telstra network which covers 98.8% of aus apparently.
Is it safe to say that it is on par with boost mobile reception?

Kogan been real shitty in my area, so have to switch the mrs and my mums phones.

  • is the reception same as boost?

  • "Everyday Mobile by Woolworths uses the Telstra wholesale network that Telstra MVNOs have access to. The difference in coverage is minimal. The wholesale network covers 98.8% of populated Australia, and Telstra’s own reaches about 99.4%"

So not the same as Boost/Telstra direct

  • I get scam SMS about 4 times a week around 2 or 3 am. I am not sure if I was getting this much scam SMSs with Boost.

  • Annoyingly the 10% monthly discount no longer works online, only in store.

At least the Everyday Extra went back to allowing the discount online after consumer backlash.

  • Only 4G network. No 5G =(

  • When did this happen? "The $x Starter Pack is no longer available for purchase online. You may be able to purchase the $x Starter Pack in-store, while stock lasts." as per their website…

    • I think they are going to discontinue the long expiry plan

      • Yeah I confirmed with support the long term starter packs have discontinued online but existing plans will continue until closed, as long as they have auto recharge turned on!
