Controversial opinions of this game and franchise in general. I feel like you either love or hate it… this seems like a decent deal on Steam, I know we're coming into the playoffs so a good time to buy for a NBA fix and get 5-6 months playtime before 2K25 arrives.

  Reminder that most sports games are quite dead on PC, especially in the smaller Aus communities. Definitely a console game

    Agree they are typically console, but thiose who have gaming handheld, ROG Ally and Legion Go, which is why I purchased, this is not a bad pick up.

  Still "old-gen" game, ie basically 2k19 or something with new rosters.

    Can confirm, its also one of the worst grind-fests I've ever experienced especially in the MyCareer (story) mode. All it does is put barely scalable walls in front of you in order to coerce you into buying virtual currency.

    Not sure why you're being downvoted. PC still gets the last gen version (Ps4/Xbone) version of the game, and on top of that 2k still refuse to give AU servers. Playing online sucks, feels so unresponsive and not snappy like FIFA/EA FC

  Played 23 on PC and faced the same people everyday who were hacking or subtly hiding hacks, bought a console at the end of 23 for 24, the population difference alone is ridiculous even the last month of 23 with no crossplay on xbox was so insanely populated.

  Worth it if you can enjoy single player aspects but expect little multiplayer wise .

    It is available on Xbox Series XS console only, not PC.

  I have this on PC, it's trash without a physical controller or a virtual controller and updates have broken functionality a few times. Would not recommend for even $14.39
