WaterWipes on sale, decent price, rarely seem to go on sale anymore.
I prefer these over all others, especially with newborns. Curash has the added chemical phenoxyethanol which scares a lot of people (google it and make up your mind).

I still use Curash for my older toddler but for newborns feel the risk is not worth it especially when you can get this on sale.

Huggies water wipes are cheaper but these ones are noticeably better quality and don’t tear like Huggies as easily. Both are fine but these are the bees knees IMO and worth the little bit extra at this price.

  • Does anyone know how long these wipes last? Would they be fine in July/August?

    • +1

      Absolutely.

Even open packs seem to stay good for a while

    • +1

yes if you keep them out of the heat. since we are going into winter, you should be ok. in the summer i would say no.

    • +1

Sealed packs are good for a 2 years since manufacture date and open packs are good for a month. As per the manufacturer’s FAQ.

    I like tooshies

  • Thanks OP :)

  • Stocked up on Huggies but have gotten a box of these on your recommendation OP, cheers!

  • +4

FYI the 540 pack with Subscribe and Save with 15% off works out SLIGHTLY cheaper.

  • that's a lot of camping trips

We still use Curash blue. I remember reading these https://www.aldi.com.au/groceries/baby/nappies-and-wipes/nap… don't have phenoxyethanol but can't find the ingredients anywhere. Can anyone confirm please? And how good or bad are they? Cheers

    • I’ve also got a few boxes of Curash but recently decided the risk of phenoxylethalene whilst minute wasn’t worth it when there are alternatives eg Huggies Water Wipes without it.

Will relegate the Curash to less sensitive applications

    • How does Curash blue compare to pink?

  • +1

Does the waterwipe clean poo well like the huggies wipes?

    • +2

I think they work better, the Huggies tend to tear in my experience.

  • This is twice the price of Huggies regular price for almost the same quantity.

    • +2

Yeah it is more expensive, but I think they are worth it.

We use both, Huggies for being out and about, leaving a pack here and there etc. and the premium stuff for home where most of the nappy changes happen.

    • I use these for the hands/face/mouth or use a clean wet cotton cloth for meal times.

For poo, I use the cheaper Aldi wipes or there's some Coles wipes for $2 (not the 99% water wipes, they seem to be worse quality in my experience).

Prolongs the life of these a bit more and use these when I only really need to - going out somewhere.

  • Thanks OP - been waiting for these to go <$4 a pack for a while now!

  • Thanks op topped up

Walter Whipe - "Im the one who cleans!!"

  • 9 pack was half price a month ago at Coles for $28 - $3.11 a pack. Can get Baby Bunting to pricebeat by 5% when it does and use TCN Baby gift cards, but they don’t sell the 12 pack.

    • Ohh thanks for the tip!

    • I do the same at chemist warehouse. They do 10% for a maximum of 3 units.

  • Just get any baby wipes and wash it with water and squeeze it and you will have water wipes. Little or no chemicals left.

  • I used Huggies for all my three kids

  • I've used these and the Hugbino ones and prefer the Hugbino ones, when you can get them in stock on Amazon that is.
Looks like you can get them on 3rd party stores for a similar price.
They work out to 5c/wipe ($52 for 960 wipes) vs 13c for the WaterWipe ones when they are on sale.
