    I believe that description is in error, pretty sure you can’t put stainless steel in the microwave.

      I think you can put in microwave, but you have to go and do a big shopping after that.

    The smash stainless steel lunch boxes are microwave proof. Not sure how they have been treated to make them safe (and non-arcing).

      I thought they had a range that had a ceramic liner that was microwaveable, but not sure about this one, can’t see microwave safe in the packaging.

        Definitely microwave safe. As marked on bottom and tested by my daughter. The kids at school always freak out when she puts it in.
