Cheap nice USB keyboard?
Comments
I guess the question is a bit more than "where", but also "which"?
Cheap — we have lots of Dell USB keyboards at work, lying around collecting dust. We buy lots of servers to put into the data centre and somehow they all come with keyboard and mouse… But I'll categorise them as cheap and nasty keyboards.
Nice — the keyboard that I am using at work (which I have to buy myself as those nasty Dell keyboards just aren't that good) is a Unicomp SpaceSaver. It weights a ton, and its spring buckling keys remind me the good ol' days… Typing on this keyboard feels like machine gun firing — noisy but very smooth. Not cheap though — ordered from US at the height of AUD, and it still costs me over $100 delivered. Hopefully it will last my entire professional life :)
Good luck!
haha thanks Scotty. Very impressive and detailed info! The cheap msy's aren't very nice looking haha. Maybe I'm just picky…may have to raise the budget a bit then. Thanks for all your help :)
