I had been looking at a few items above $100 recently, and noticed below the item summary that usual promo message "Take $x off this item" was "Take $30 off this item".
As I didn't quite have the money at the moment, I didn't 'bite' and instead checked my eBay summary page, and I'm positive I noticed in both my accounts a spend $100 get $30 off, and it mentioning something along the lines of eBay plus renewal… something - both my accounts are eBay plus, and I have recently used the $30 cancel/retention gift card on one of them. I'm sure I checked the expiry as ending in November sometime, so thought I had plenty of time to take advantage of the $30 off.
Anyway, I look today and notice neither account has this promo any more, and the items only say the meagre amount of "Take $5 off this item".
As it is just past the 11th April, maybe I read the expiry date around the wrong way? I'm sure I didn't though as the normal $5 off vouchers are there and the date format is the usual Australian format, so I would think I wouldn't read it backwards if the expiry was 11th April.
I tried to check with eBay chat on one account, and they have no clue, or won't confirm anything.
It would be great if someone can confirm if either I'm the idiot, and missed the promo, or, if that person also had (or still has) this promo in their eBay account summary page, which shows that eBay are the problem.
Your assistance is appreciated!
