I have this, it's pretty bad to honest, much like any other cheap precision screwdrivers sets. The bits themselves aren't made with precision in the first place, deeming them quite useless for small screws. On top of that the bits don't last long, they bend quite easily.

    • I have a set that looks extremely similar to this. Not my experience at all, very useful, working well, and nothing has bent or stopped working. Put together 1.5 PC's and taken apart quite a few other small items

      • It depends on the set you have. There are so many of these. I have 3 sets. The most expensive set bought here from a computer store was decent. The $8 one from Temu is inferior. One side, the cover doesn't close properly (no visible damage). So, some of these cheap ones could be rejected one.

I have a set, I’ve taken apart iphones with ease with this. My experience is actually the opposite, where the small bits are very precise while the bigger bits are really dull. I’ve taken apart and built maybe 10 computers with these as well, no problems whatsoever. Furniture might be pushing it though, the bits are too soft for that. As stated before, YMMV.

Poor man's shoes situation. If you are going to use drivers frequently figure out what you need and buy quality tools accordingly because it'll be cheaper in the long run. I have heaped three such entry level sets for various hobbies upon the great pyre.

    • No thanks. Terrible advice.

      • For PCs and small electronic items, you can get away with using these. However, there are differences between these low end ones and professional ones. The professional ones won't break the screws like these could (or the screw driver bits on these will break easily).

For doing things which are more heavy duty, this won't do. If it is a paid job, it's best not to use these. My cheapest set of these ($8), one of the pieces arrived slightly bent and had rust spots. The pry pieces from that set are certainly cheap quality.

      • I gave the advice I wish I had been found instead of that proferred by luckier casual tinkers.
In my experience as soon as I ran into an overtorqued screw or one with loctite my comparably cheap drivers just shredded. I could count the number of bits I used in the course of taking apart gpus and coffee machines on one hand and it was slightly over triple the price of the dead set to curate robust drivers in the sizes and types I needed.
Not that I didn't appreciate your curt four word dismissal without any experience or data offered to qualify your assertion.

  • This exact set was $9 delivered on kogan just 2weeks ago. I ordered one, just to have for sunnies screws. Very cheap plastic parts but the bits are made of metal and hold their edge.

  • Mine from the previous deals arrived in 8 business days. AliExpress Choice strikes again!

  • Paid like $6.00 for this the other week..
Keep a look out because often Aliexpress got the same item for a bunch of different prices..

    • That's for the 25 in 1 kit.

      • You are right, i must have got lucky i got the 116 for $6 lol
