They're limited run, fancy aged stouts. If you drink VB, obviously this will not seem like a bargain.
i drink whisky and wine, and it still does not seem like a bargain. I can buy a couple decent bottles of scotch for $200, or 4-6 bottles of pretty great wine. This is some pretty niche beer, even if it sounds appealing

these beers are typically aged in ex bourbon barrels for over 12 months, are 12% alcohol and made with premium ingredients. the costs involved to make these type of beers is substantial, of course they aren't going to be as cheap as the watered down p!ss you drink.

They've upped the price (it used to be about $13 for a 375ml can, but they've added bottle conditioning and treat it a bit more like a wine now), this is not something you knock down a couple of tinnies of after work. It's so rich and flavoursome you drink it more like a whisky, sip away at it for a while and savour it. I'd drink a can over two nights.
A shame Deeds is out of the 4 pack, it'd probably take me 6 months to get through the 16 pack.

That's not a bad price for big bottles, assuming they taste OK.I'm tempted by that one but it looks like it might be a bit on the bland side. Will be interested to hear what you think of it.
