Hi all. For those who missed out on the previous good deal on PS Vita from Amazon.de, currently it is running a promotion of buying PS Vita WIFI 3G & get both Little Big Planet & 4GB memory card for FREE. The bundle adds up to Euro $210.61 shipped, approximately AU$258.

You have to add both Little Big Planet vita game & 4GB Memory card to the cart to get the discount which will be shown in the checkout.

Using google chrome translator, the Vita 3G console is unlocked. The game itself is in German but I have checked the video preview of it that the language is actually is in English with German subtitle. Correct me if I'm wrong though.

They also have promotion for PS Vita Wifi with Little Big Planet as free game for EU202.04 (AU$248). However, this deal isn't as good as the 3G version.

Don't forget to turn off the Amazon currency converter to get the better exchange rate. I don't know how long this offer lasts so I put up 7 days.

Kinda disappointing that Amazon Germany had better prices near launch ( System with 1 games and 8gb for around 240). Still not bad at all, thanks OP

Charming. 3g has always been a little extra, hardly much of a price drop over a year

These aren't $99 yet? Surprising. Maybe Sony haven't given up yet. How cute.

You're still trolling this website? How cute.

      • Trolling aside I think the Vita is in a bad place right now, and Sony probably can't afford a price cut

That's my point (in a smart ass way). I wouldn't trust the future of this device long term. And, before you say it, I'm not a Nintedo fanboy, I think they have a shaky future ahead of them too.

        • Nintendo are fine.

          Sony will survive.

          ……….

    • usually this sort of comment is left by someone why cant buy a Vita or by someone who likes iphone/android games and compares the Vita to an Iphone….$99???? I personally think the Vita is a good price. and giving up? the Vita will be around for a while and will continue to make the iphone look crap.

I don't really play portable games on any console. I'm not basing it on personal opinion I'm basing it on sale figures and the increasing demand for iPods Touches/iPads in the younger market (which is what these portable devices cater for.

And I'm not saying $99 would be a logical price, I'm saying that's what it will be at when they finally have a firesale and give up.

Very tempted to get it given the price.

  • Nexus 7 is more device for the money lol.

How is a Nexus 7 related to a PSP Vita? Its a tablet ffs.. some people!!! Pffttt

      • Don't know about tablets, but mobile gaming is definitely giving handheld consoles a run for their money now. I just got NFS:MW on my S3, and the graphics are much better than my PSP (original, not vita). It's also much more convenient to just whip out your mobile for a quick game, than lug around an extra piece of equipment (not to mention another thing you have to keep charged).

        • I'm not surprised since the PSP is a 7 year old console, so it does have restraints on hardware capabilities. Just saying. I rather play with something that has buttons instead of constanly tapping on my 4G S3 screen imo

    • Oops double post..

    • Agreed - given the option of tablet or Vita, it'd be the tablet without hesitation. The line up of game's on tablet is huge compared to Vita, and in most cases the quality of games is equal or better.

Factor in that the average "hardcore" game that would truly compete with market of the Vita is only around 5-8 dollars; you get a lot more bang for your buck too.

Then if touch controls aren't for you just use a Bluetooth controller and for most games you're all set :D.

Interesting. Do they have any white units?

    That's a fine price for 3G.
