        Penny has one around the same price.

        But I think the reviews are a bit luke-warm on the Penny.

        I'm not sure on the Waterborne vs Globe Slant surf trucks.

      Might differ from state to state, but my understanding is that it's usually treated as a 'wheeled toy', and is not considered a vehicle nor personal transport device (if it had an electric motor, then that's a different matter).

      So, you probably have the freedom to crack your head open from a 'passive' skateboard if you wish. Same as roller-skates/blades.

        Yeah not required in Vic but I wear one at the park or doing downhill stuff. I don't bother when I'm just casually rolling around town on my cruisers.
