We at Flatscreen Avenue are clearing out space in our warehouse for new product lines to come in and are looking to sell off some of our Hannspree TV range at heavily discounted prices. As our staff here are all regular visitors of ozbargain we thought it would be nice to give the offer first to you guys!

The two products we are selling are the Hannspree Apple and the Hannspree Fire Truck:

Both have an RRP of $399 but for the next two weeks we're knocking them down to $139 + $10 postage (yes, we need the room quick!)
We don't have an online store setup as 99% of our business is with retail stores (Dick Smith, Harvey Norman, etc) and not with individuals.

The apple TVs primarily come in red - however there is a very limited amount of metallic colours (about 3 of each colour) which were never sold in retail stores. They were meant to be used for promotional purposes but we only needed to open one of each colour.

    Pretty awesome deal, but dunno what I'd do with a 9.6" LCD, too small for the kids even…

    If it had an SD card input so it could double as a digital photo frame, I'd be all over it!

      Yeah, great looking product but too small to be really useful.
      If it had something more like a 15" screen, I'd be all over it.

    Just wanted to add that the cables that come with these tvs are of very high quality (not flimsy might-break-any-second stuff). The connectors at the back are also gold plated. These TVs may be aimed at a younger market (obviously) but they're built to last and to work well!
    No SD card input though unfortunately - i agree it'd be a great bonus feature! Our primary business is with digital photo frames by the way :)

    Is is just me or don't the specs even mention if its analogue, digital or no FTA reception ?

      definitely has FTA reception, although i'll have to double check on whether it is analogue or digital.

      The user manual does talk about TV, but doesn't mention digital (and does mention "snow") so probably just analogue.

      Pity, that apple is gorgeous. :(

        So buyer beware in the next 1 to 4 years the tv function will be useless, and you'll need a STB for it. I would think that is why its going so cheap, to clear it out before people stop buying analogue TV devices.

        Companies should be forced to alert buyers of the analogue TV cut off when buying analogue devices.

          I agree with that, but $139 for this TV is not a bad price to pay. i'd probably buy it for the kids to watch dvds and play games on. it also has that novelty factor. if i really wanted to (although i already have a digital tv), i can get a digital set-top box for it. the set-top boxes are getting cheaper every month.

      You mean HDMI? No… and the 800x600 resolution wouldn't do the PS3 justice anyway

      the response has been much more than I expected actually. So thanks everyone!

      To answer a few commonly asked questions -

      1) none of these are refurbished units. They are all unopened. If any of the coloured ones have been opened it was for the sole purpose of verifying colour, they've simply been opened, photographed, and put back in the box.

      2) payment is via direct deposit

      3) delivery is via courier to anywhere during business hours (no PO boxes)

      4) At least one of all the metallic colours are still available (although there are a few with only one left!).

          there has been a big response and i'm doing this solo at the moment as one of the guys here has broken his hand and the other is off to the hospital as his wife is about to have a baby… but I promise to get back to everyone as soon as I can!
          The TVs should be shipped out Monday/Tuesday next week for those payments that have been received by then, as they are being sent by courier expect to receive them within the week (unless you're in WA or a very remote area).
          I'll do my best to email you with con note numbers so you can track the orders as well.
