I'm a long time user of QV Gentle Wash and Skin Lotion from Chemist Warehouse. They were $16, then $19, now $22 for 1.25kg. Coles "reducing" from $30 to $15 for 1kg is not a genuine 50% off. It's cheaper than CW, sure but it's not a genuine sale at all.

    • @soan papdi So am I. Chemist Warehouse hasn't been selling for $16 for a while. The last special last week & last month was $19.99 which I bought.
Not a genuine special if you compare with Chemist Warehouse but it's the cheapest for Coles. May suit if you want to collect Flybuys points. I also bought from Coles last time it was half price due to the Flybuys points

Yes, I did mention it's moved to $22, My criticism is about the 50% off. In absolute terms, sure it's a deal being cheaper than CW but we need to call out stores, especially Colesworth, which inflate regular price to give a "huge discount" in their sales.

Same. I switched to Aveeno because I found it better value, currently $13 for 1L ($11.70 subscribe & save) - https://www.amazon.com.au/Aveeno-Moisturising-Fragrance-Sens…

      • Not sure what the irritant was but Aveeno made my skin itchy. Wish I could change brand as QV is getting more expensive

Gentle wash doesn't seem very gentle to me with ingredients like this: https://www.ewg.org/skindeep/ingredients/705335-PROPYLPARABE…

The Ceramides cream stings like crazy if you have very dry and cracking skin. Avoid as I'm not sure it's better than the normal moisturiser

    • Thanks for the feedback. I haven't tried the ceramides cream and will stick to the lotion and original cream. The QV intensive cream gave me an itchy skin (different ingredients to the others).

    • QV Ceramides tub doesn't sting, but the pump does (lotion)
      I bought both.

  • QV really is getting more expensive. Is it worth it to wait for a better deal from Chemist Warehouse or stock up on this deal? I have about a third of a bottle left…

Best deal u get from CWH is when the exclusive 1.25kg size dropped to around $19, then combine with Shopback’s 15-20% Westpac Wednesday (or similar) cashback offer.

Best deal from Coles would be when the 1kg size is HP like this, then combine with whatever Flybuys offer you have, aim for double dip Tuesday/Friday if you get the offer for maximum efficiency.

CWH’s 1.25kg @$19 = Coles’ 1kg @$15 right off the shelves, up to you and the offers you get from respective sides as I mentioned above to decide which to better buy from.

      • Thanks for the great advice.
Chemist Warehouse seems to have increased from $18.99 to $19.99 for the 1.25kg as I paid $19.99 in the most recent sale (last month and last week).

        • Yeah I noticed too but their sale fluctuates on the QV 1.25kg so lets be hopeful $18.99 is still on the horizon 🙏

  • Gentle Wash my a$$! I checked the ingredients and it has a few nasties. Especially the last ingredient: https://www.ewg.org/skindeep/ingredients/705335-PROPYLPARABE…
