Old Real Estate Listing Page

I am wondering if anyone knows a way to view old real estate listings, on either domain or RealEstate.com.au.

I’m interested in seeing price changes in listings that occur or when listing change from auction to for sales etc and dates of change.

    Old listings.com.au

    • All one word/ no space

It’s a bit hit and miss and the search function is not great but it’s one of the better options I’ve come across

  • Not sure that the data is publicly available.

I used to have rpdata subscription that showed that level of detail (price changes and dates). Not sure if that detail is still available but maybe check with someone who has rpdata (or pay for it for a month) .

    Way back machine maybe?

Copy the url of the current listing and plug it in the the waybackmachine search engine. It will then show you calendar entries showing the dates on which changes to the specific page were made. You can open each page on a different tab and take screenshots.

search the full street address on realestate.com.au

  • property.com.au (owned by realestate.com.au) has a timeline of the property history including when they’ve been put up for sale/rent, when they’ve actually been sold/rented and if they’ve just been withdrawn, if the data was obtainable, it does sometimes list changes in prices… it also links to relevant realestate.com.au listings where they’re still active, but sometimes if they’re not active, the old photos are still there.

However the best thing to do is take notes yourself of all price changes as most of them slip through the radar of these systems.
