No it's a moba like Dota or LoL but you have direct control of the hero, closest game to it is SMITE. I spent awhile collecting various free and paid skin bundles for Paragon must've spent a little over $100 on them it was a cool game, shame they shut it down but I guess only game Epic cares about is Fortnite. RIP Paragon & Unreal Tournament

      • Paragon was a great game, will give this a go. Thanks.

        • I thought this was literally a Paragon relaunch?

@9674784: It is, and the game hasn't improved on it. Smite is a better alternative, Predecessor needs lot more work on the feel of the game.

while it is a moba, much like smite, they're not in the same ball park as dota and league. much simpler and easier to pick up

  • I gave it a go and very rapidly lost interest. The game autobuys your items and from what I could see only one item slot has an active use effect, eliminating a good chunk of the strategy and gameplay decisions that is expected in a MOBA. It is also overall very slow and clunky - teleporting takes around 8 seconds and movement is fairly sluggish. The "short dash forward" skill, which gives you very little horizontal movement, is on something like a 300 second cooldown, which is ridiculously long.

Maybe I'm just tainted from being a former DotA player.
