Oppo Green Fluro Line down Screen

My Oppo Find X3 Neo was on the bedside table overnight and I woke up and found a fluro green line down the screen. There is no service centre where I live- only in NSW. My warranty runs out 17/4/2024. Then I have a 12 month product care. Any suggestions on what I should do?

The last Oppo security update was February 2024. Running ColorOS 13.1. Android 13

        Make sure to back up your phone as they may reset it or replace it.

          I saw the same phone on eBay with the refurbished code. Might even be better to buy a replacement before sending it away to back it up

            @koplik8: Why buy the same phone when they one failed on you. Unless you want a 2x Neo without Security Updates soon.

                @koplik8: Maybe Samsung Galaxy A55, which will receive four major OS upgrades and five years of security updates.

                Same kind of performance but more modern OS and guaranteed future upgrades. Best of All, Service Centres in all major cities!

                    @koplik8: True, but most phones will stop getting updates after a few years. And x3 neo is reaching the end of the software updates cycles.

                    @koplik8: China Phones always have more RAM (that's their selling point)…more features for lower price.

    If i was you I'd, Buy a new phone (from Gerry) and wait till the 18th plus. Then take it back to Gerry to be sent for evaluation. Tell the person booking it in that you woould like a credit, wether it be instore, or a refund.

    The amount will be slightly less but a win.

    As an ex employee, i purchased Anything Where possible on PC.

    I cant talk about the other trick, unless its a dm.

      Ok it's only two weeks away till product care kicks in. From what I saw on YouTube the first green line is only the start of it before more lines start showing up. This phone has been awesome
