Simplecom 4-Port PD 100W GaN Fast Wall Charger $45 + Delivery ($0 C&C / in-Store) + 1% Fee ($0 for Cards) @ Umart

100

This is a great alternative to the recent Officeworks deal (Cygnett PowerMaxx 100W GaN Charger $59) which no longer can be ordered online / delivered. However, this one can be still ordered online and delivered straight to your door or to be picked up at your local Umart stores. This one actually has 4 ports, more than the Cygnett's one (3 ports). This fast charger is still selling around $59~69 in other stores at the moment.

Nice find, seems quite decent for the price. I personally like that it uses a figure 8 power cable as you can position it away from the power outlet and can easily swap leads for travelling overseas.

Yes, good idea, thanks for the official link.

    • Have you got one of these? I also like the C7 power cable over the direct plug into wall ones.

      • No I didn't end up getting one partly because a user below mention it was manufactured out of the same factory as Hey Mix chargers, which have a bad reputation for being poor quality.

I'll probably hold out for other similar 'desktop' style chargers from Ugreen, Anker or Belkin, who all have high wattage chargers that also sport a figure 8 cable

Earlier in the year of 2023, MSY was taken over by Umart, hence the same price between their website.

If this goes out of stock - the Simplecom chargers are certified in Australia by Shenzhen Good-she Technology Co.,Ltd., who also make HEYMIX chargers.

  • I received this and finally got around to testing it. Bit confused how it works reading the manual.

It says when USB C1 and C2 are plugged in it will do 65W + 35W which is fine and makes sense. However, it also says to get 100W out of USB-C1 you can only have one cable plugged it. Do they mean one cable or one device. as in I can have both cables plugged in but as long as its only one device connected to C1 it will get 100W or do I have to disconnect C2 despite nothing connected to it at the other end (eg the charger senses the cable despite no other device connected to it) ?

Also, when I plugged my iPhone 15 Pro Max to it its only charging at 5V 1.5A which is like 7.5W … I used a usb voltage reader to test it. So not sure what to think of this device as its not fast charging my phone at all.
