How to Find and Load Old Android Reading Apps?

Have a few near new old tablets with excellent batteries. Was hoping to put on something like Reading eggs on it.

One is ICS based. She uses this the most for angry birds etc.

The other are Jelly Bean and KitKat based.

Can I get any reading apps loaded on these old tablets?

yeah why not just search apkmirror or apkpure for comic rack and side load. i think comic rack is old enough for jellyb and kk
or, search xdaforum if there is custom firmware with newer android and flash so you can go to playstore and get any apps you want

  I have never heard of comic rack, and don't really know what side load means…. but sounds like I better learn ;)
  
  As for XDA, guess I just search the forum for my tablet model and see what comes up.
