12 dollar is an insane RRP for 300g

    • Yes but also Guylian are often on sale for $12 / 250g and are seemily always sold out :/

  • +1

    I can’t see online price , shows $8.50

    • Darn, what state? OOS or still $12?

      • +1

Oh I see some at town hall Sydney

  • +1

    $12 is wild

  • They had some of these at work and they tasted foul.
Maybe they put more water in the easter themed chocolate.

    • really, the Lindt Lindor choc eggs tasted awful? I love Lindor balls, so you are saying these don't taste the same?

      • +2

got these yesterday, definetely tasted the exact same. albeit not as satisfying as they are so small. but exact same taste

    • +1

Lindt is one of the best chocolate brands.

      • +1

        disagree, massively overrated IMO

        • -2

Not agreeing completely, but cancelling out the puerile neg.

    • +2

Wierd. Tried some now, they seemed normal & like lindor balls.

      • Glad to hear, maybe they found them in a cupboard from last year.

    • +1

You sure they weren't chocolate salty balls?

      • hahaha..Chef

  • Showing as $8.50 in SA.

  • +1

This definitely WAS $3 a few minutes ago. Had to (profanity) around to try to do a direct to boot order even though I'd rather go in, needed 50$ minimum, by the time I got it sorted, it went up to $8.50. Poo.

    • It's $3 at Fairfield Heights 186 The Boulevard, Fairfield Heights, but when I click on my local store it reverts to $8.50.

    • Thanks for the opinion.

So what's the neg for? I guess you can point us to chocolate that's cheaper than $1 per 100g.

      • Always funny when they finally work out how stupid the comment was (because others tell them, not gonna get it themselves) and delete it

    • +2

You won't find good chocolate for $1 per 100g

    • +1

      $1/100g is the best!

    • +1

You have agency, nobody is FORCING you to buy anything. But by buying them at the higher price, you validate their decision to price it that way. Nobody to blame but yourself.

    • +1

Im lost hokofan, are you negging the normal price of Easter chocolate before the deal?

  • +4

boo hiss, i got this for $8 yesterday
guess i need to get a better average and buy 6 more packets

    • have you had any of them? Someone else said they tasted awful, but hard to believe about Lindt…i.e. taste like normal Lindor balls?

      • +1

Just tried one of each flavour, yeah they taste just the same as the lindor balls. Super sweet and more liquid centres.

      • +2

Eating them now at my computer, same as they've always tasted. One Lindt ball is too much, 40 small Lindt eggs= perfect.

    • Dollar cost average your easter egg investments.

  • +4

This is what it actually should sell for. Just imagine the profit margin on these for woolies.

Bag of Allens lollies used to be $2.80 and often half price for $1.40, now RRP is $5.00 and if you're lucky you can get them for 40% off at $3.00. We're being taken for a ride, so many things doubling in price with a discount to be paying slightly more than previous retail…

      • Like cigarettes, if people get priced out of buying stuff like that they win on the health side as well as with the finances.

  • +1

$8.50 instead of $3 at some stores.

  • Check your local Coles and Kmart too.
The Coles in the same shopping centre as my Woolies had the same Lindt and Cadbury stuff at half the of Woolies "clearance" price.

    • +1

Yeah colesworths are dragging their feet on the markdowns for the leftover easter chocolates, while the Kmart egg boxes and bunnies have been 50c since like Monday lol.

    SYD only, $8.5 in Brisbane

    • Thanks. Hope they drop for you soon.

  • +1

stock up on it for next Easter

    • Best before July 24. Won’t even last til Halloween if those dates mean anything.

  • +1

    Bit offended I didnt get a call…..

Is anyone else finding the current offering of Easter eggs pretty boring and uninspired. Cadbury's idea of fun seems to be putting a boring egg in a box twice it's size. I got one with a picture of lollies on the box, open it up boring egg and tiny plastic bag of lollies. I'd be more impressed by plain old Mars bar.

  • only issue with online orders is, only pick and pack when you are going to collect it and they might be sold out before then. I was going in Sunday morning, but feel there won't be any left by then…..didn't want to have to make a separate trip tomorrow.

    • Classic!

  • +1

Grabbed 3 bags of the assorted. Luv those creamy centres. Yummo. Thanks OP.

  • +1

Just went out in the rain to stock up on these. Absolutely love em. Thanks OP.

As of 4pm, Fairy Meadow NSW still had a bunch of these and loads of other Easter stuff as well, all reduced.

  • CBR Majura Park $3, plenty left

  • +1

One warning for fellow coeliacs or gluten free people that haven't picked up on these, the barley malt extract on the ingredients list isn't bolded and gluten isn't listed anywhere in the allergens, so it's easy to miss but it is present.

  • $8.50 in Brisbane

  • +1

Just ran down to a store in Queensland and found they scanned at $8.50…. Was disappointed until the guy in the checkout next to me tried to buy some too and showed the attendant that the price was $3 on the Woolworths app. So she marked them down to $3 for both of us. Yay!

    • Win!

  • good price

  • +1

Seems like $3 territory wide in the NT, just grabbed 10 in store

  • +2

Wasn't $3 at a Melbourne store when I was there this afternoon

    • All $8.50 from the several woolies ive gone to

  • +3

Just got back from Hurstville Woolies, there was an entire wall of Easter chocolate markdowns (near the freezer section). Hundreds of bags of these Lindt eggs still left (literally boxes of them), plus Lindt gold bunnies, Cadbury stuff, etc.
I picked up an assorted pack which contains milk, white and dark mini eggs.
    Happy hunting!

  • Ah, I need to go and check out my local store!

  • +2

Checked 3 stores near me and all are still at $8.50 😐
Oh well guess my waistline will thank me

  • Chullora woolworths still has these + lots of Cadbury (due to Muslims not eating it because of Gaza)
Coles there has other things cheap too.

  • Great deal, thanks OP.

  • Thanks OP!

  • :)

  • couldn't get any of these anywhere around me. I rang one store that showed stock…none there, went to another store that showed stock….none there (I had to get a couple of other things there anyway) Had done an online order at another store on Friday that showed plenty of stock, alas by today there were none left, so I got none of these. Had to settle for getting the 390g pack at Coles for $6.75. Nowhere near as good a deal, but at least it is still cheaper per 100g than even half price deals for Lindt Choc blocks 100g

    • Yeah checked out another woolies nearby, had sold out there, starting to go quickly. Nothing else is a good a deal atm.
