Dell 27" QHD IPS 165hz Gaming Monitor - G2724D - Not Reducing in Price?

Hi, I have been watching this monitor and it seems to be going against all trends of reducing prices with age.

Last year it was frequently available for $350 here, then the price went up to $399 end of last year. Now it has increased to $529 this year. I thought it may be on an Easter sale but no luck. Any promotions coming up on it? Or just find a different brand?

As an aside in the US, Dell sells for $199 USD now (which is near enough to $300AUD on a conversion rate, so I would have expected it to be $350-$400AUD only). Is Dell Aus taking us for a ride now?

    You should think about ultra wide and bigger too.

    Price is an output of supply and demand. Other factors affecting price is exchange rate, cost to manufacture and cost to transport. There are multiple reasons why something can go up in price. Or maybe Dell just want to rip off the Australian consumers, like Coles and Woolies.

    Yes I've been tracking the price too and no idea why it's on the up… Regret not biting when it was $399.
