Booked Jetstar Holiday, Is It Possible to Add IHG One Rewards Club Membership?

I recently booked a Jetstar holiday and will be staying at Intercontinental.
I got the free IHG membership from one of the previous deals posted on Ozbargain.
I contacted Jetstar to add my membership to the hotel booking and Jetstar referred me to Intercontinental.
Then I contacted IHG and they said the booking was through a third party company so they are not able to add my IHG membership and referred me back to Jetstar.

Is there any way around it? My understanding is adding the membership might give me extra benefits or potentially free upgrade.

    No, 3rd Party, no benefits. You have to book direct to get points / benefits.

    grab an extra phone
    call IHG on one and jeststar on another

    get through to both
    flip phone so they are takking to each other

    win win

    since you booked through a third party, usually hotels wont add membership and give u the benefits. depends on the staff at the counter they might give u something

    Go to IHG app, try to add the reservation to your account using the confirmation number from Jetstar. If it works, good, if not, bad luck and lesson learned for next time.

    Can also try at check-in but I wouldn't get your hopes up.
