  • beat me to posting it 😉🤣🫡 only 500 slots though

Ugh I’m so ticked why <10% is the new standard and we the Ozmonkeys keeps biting the bait. I personally am not biting so someone else can take the slot, but believe me they’ll keep reducing til 5% or less is the new standard if this keeps going on. 🤬

    • Don't know why you're getting engaged. This is exactly what happened with Prezzie. It used to be $10 bonus in $100, now it is $10 bonus on $150.

      • +6

Sry I’m married not engaged 😂

Was meant to say negged :p

It is also what has been happening with Ebay ever since the inception of Ebay plus (dropping seller promos that reduce FVF, as well as now cancelling the $5 off $15 monthly coupon… Which is now $5 off $30 iirc)

Maybe the negs are because it never was 10% (it only hits 10-15% on gift cards from supermarkets.. usually in October)

          • @justtoreply: Nah up until sometime last year, either via CR or SB there has always been combination of challenges randomly popping up that that makes total discount 10% or more (either via Westpac or not)

    • I think you make a good point. Don't worry about the snowflakes negging you.

I'm looking at the app and it doesn't mention Amazon and eBay as swappable options. Where are you seeing these?

Valid for ShopBack Home Swap Gift Cards purchased
at ShopBack Gift Cards (these can be swapped
for Bunnings, IKEA, Freedom, Temple & Webster,
Sheridan, Amart or Spotlight Gift Cards)

    • I am also seeing the same description.

OP, please tell us where you are seeing swapping options for Amazon and eBay.

    • +1

Amazon and eBay were available during the last deal, since it's not officially on the list though it's possible they have been removed since.

Best to wait until someone can buy and confirm in the morning, unless someone has one of these cards (it's a Prezzee card) and can check right now.

      • +1

Amazon, eBay, Officeworks are still there. Checked my home swap card in prezzee from the last deal.

        • +2

Not seeing Amazon, ebay, OW on mine… Only the home stuff as listed like spotlight, bunnings etc

          • @darque: Are you looking in your Prezzee wallet after you purchase and save it, and then clicking A-Z to see all retailers?

    • +4

Ok just bought it and it looks like Amazon and eBay are in the swap list. Thanks OP and others who confirmed this.

  • Thanks.

Anyone bought one yet? Amazon/eBay ok?

    • +7

Yes just converted mine to Amazon

      • Also just converted to Amazon

Got it, thanks Amazon and eBay still there.

    • Cheers!

    can confirm got ebay $100

  • Anyone experience an issue where gift card expiry dates listed in the SB app are incorrect?
I have a few Celebration Swap cards which in the SB app says "Valid until" Dec 2024/Feb 2025 etc. but when I tried to use them they'd already expired after 3 years.
I've been pretty diligent in checking the SB app regularly, keeping track of my gift cards and their expiry dates etc., and feeling duped. Raised a ticket with customer service weeks ago and no reply. Is there anything I can do?

  • Does anyone know when the Amazon and eBay options will disappear? I'm not sure I want to commit to a swap on this yet.

    • not sure on that, but everytime i redeem an apple gift card it disappears. Not sure if that's Apple problem. That's with other cards, not just Home.

    • It's been this way for 2 months now, however it could end at anytime so depends how much of a risk it is to you. Personally I keep them as I don't mind using them at Bunnings as worst case scenario if Amazon/eBay disappear, Bunnings also give change to your gift card under $9.95 in cash so you can convert them quite quickly.

  • Received and swapped to Amazon Gift Card

  • thanks op grabbed one for amazon

  • taking forever to receive the GC….

  • just bought and received - swapped to Officeworks 🙃

  • All rewards claimed

  • Where’s the opt in? Can’t see it zzzzzz

  • Beware buying this when the numbers are low. Last one I did with 18 left at time of purchase was rejected stating all spots claimed.

  • That went quick

  • jeez that went so quick,.

  • Thanks, perfect timing. Got one in the morning after seeing this post and used it to renew my prime membership.
