This gift card comes with a PIN.
However, in most situations for instore purchases, you will not need a PIN, because most EFTPOS terminals are configured to support CDCVM (Consumer Device Cardholder Verification Method), which allows you to pay using a mobile wallet and not need to enter a PIN. For example, if you want to pay $250 in one instore transaction and you tap an Activ Visa gift card from a mobile wallet, the merchant will almost always process the transaction without a PIN.
$1 fee is annoying as can’t convert my $100 vanilla Cole’s gift cards lol
$99+$1
Tried that but unfortunately discount only applies to GC value of $100 or more
Sorry, my bad.
yes, and unfortunately, like prezzee, no split payments via paypal :(
Gift cards look not doing well lol Prezzee doesn't have a promotion at all this Easter
So just to clarify, the main reason why I want to spend $1 per $250 Coles digital Mastercard on this is because it enables me to use $249 for ‘anything’ (via online or physical tap) as opposed to the Coles online only sort of thing?
also perhaps for security :)
Anyone know if these have a card PIN available or do you have to always use a signature for in store purchases?
