      If you check your logbook you will likely find that the blanket factory recommendation of 5w-30 is superceded by the temperature location recommendation for Australia's temps, which will likely make 5w-40 a better selection.
      
      The manuals the makers print go all over the world - but our temps are generally quite a lot higher than Euro, Yanks etc.
