  Can anyone tell me if I can self host with this camera? I'm a tin-foil hatter and I don't want my data going outside my network.

  I checked their FAQ, and a lot of it was nonsense. Answers not matching up with questions, typos (smoothies, enhanced mopping).

        You can stream RTSP through something like VLC. ONVIF is for connecting up to an NVR. There's DIY solutions like Frigate.

        There's many many ways of doing it. Dr Google has a lot of methods.

    Looking at the images, the white light in E presumably is the spotlight.

      Ironically the Bullet 2 is listed as having a spotlight, but spotlight it is not listed on Bullet 2E. They probably both have spotlight/'active deterrence'.

      The only difference I can see is weight, power and smartdumb-features, with 2E probably being a later slightly superior variant.

      Based on what?

      The Bullet 2 (non-E) has ethernet (1 x 100Mbps Ethernet Port) as per the specifications and photos.

    Bullet 2 has a speaker, 2C has no spotlight or speaker. 2E has no speaker but has colour night vision. 2S has speaker, siren and colour vision.

  Just got a call from them. They said it was a listing error and offered me one with lower video quality. I chose refund.

  Same - they contacted me and said manufacturer sent mislabeled batch of Imou Bullet 2 4MP Outdoor. They offer a refund or swap 1080p (2MP) one instead at same sale price. Not answered yet.
