      This paper is shit !

      • +1

        User error

      • Only if you are very, very mixed up.

        (It's the other way round.)

        Skill issue

    • Oh the pain

I wonder if Amazon algorithm will match it

    • That just goes so show you there's still margin.

  • Can I ask why everyone on here goes crazy for quilton deals when Woolies has sorbent half price this week which works out the same price. Is quilton much better quality?

    • +1

      Is quilton much better quality?

Nope! Quilton has literally gone to sh!t since covid. Quality is rough AF now.

      • +7

        It's still better than Sorbent.

        • +3

sorbent has been "crap" for years….since they changed the machines doing the "quilting"

      • -1

I think your backside got more sensitive during lockdown… and no i don't want to know what you were doing on those long, lonely nights.

      • 'Quilton has literally gone to sh!t since covid. Quality is rough AF now.'

the Vietnamese guy who started Quilton and killed the competition with 3-ply when everyone else was 2-ply and did it cheaper, has since sold the company so now the CP value can start to go down the toilet

e.g. the glue to seal each roll can sometimes be excessive leaving no exposed end, and needing a knife type tool to get under and break the glue which can affect a few layers thus damaged.

I bought it at maybe 29c/100 sheets for a long time, then it went up to 31c/100 sheets

Woolworths have this pack for $19 - https://www.woolworths.com.au/shop/productdetails/859246 - looks like 29c/100 sheets

This Ozbargain deal $14.99 looks like 23c/100 sheets (not 100 $hits)

Where do I sign ? I'll bring my brown pen

We still use it - even if does give me the sheets sometimes

  • At this price point it's better than Aldi Confidence price.

    • +1

but is it actually better quality?

      • Aldi Confidence is rebranded Quilton.

  • +1

Thanks OP, not a crap deal at all

  • +1

Combine with CBA $10 cash back for $50 spend!

  • So does this mean Covid is officially over?

Perfect time to stock up for the next pandemic

    • -6

No , just got it . Nothing more than a flu , fancy taking an expermental drug for that !

      • -4

Quickly now, you know the drill!
Mask-up to ramp up the severity, and lock yourself inside with the family for as long as it takes for everyone to get it.
Whatever you do don't: go outside, get sun, exercise or take any of the usual proven cold and flu remedys.
        Enjoy!

It's over in the US, but they were trying to push a new pandemic "Disease X". Just in time for the election 🤡

  • Good deal, but $6.61 more and I get extra 12 rolls and home delivery.

  • +1

Cheaper but I have to go pick it up and log it around.

  • +1

Compare with costco, which one is better basis on price?

  • Shitty deal

if you like sandpaper roughness, this is the paper for you

    • +1

'sandpaper roughness' ? c'mon man - either you're shilling for the competition or please tell us your choice of non-sandpapery TP - que ?¿

      • The accusation of "shilling for the competition" sounds oddly defensive. Maybe you're associated with Quilton. I never mentioned another brand.

Quilton may have changed something recently, their paper is rougher than before as evidenced by the many recent bad reviews pointing this out. I noticed it myself, and actually googled in case I was imagining things, but it turns out others also noticed. They're now discounting their product across multiple campaigns. Paper-Gate! Perhaps it was a batch issue, but something is definitely fishy. You either notice, or you don't. If you haven't noticed, good luck to you.

    • Or maybe your arse is too sensitive..

    • Honestly, I think this is one of the smoother tps out there. I'm super sensitive and this is one of the few tps that I buy regularly. I've tried all the newer brands from Coles and Woolies, Who Gives a Crap etc. and none of them are as nice as Quilton.

Since the lock down, I have started using banana leaves and its a more planet friendly alternative and fully biodegradable. I now have 3 banana tree's in my backyard. Serves the whole family but wife and daughter do not like it but my boy's do not mind and are now used to it.

    • Harambe?

  • I just use pampers and put it in the bin. Extra bonus I can do it while grocery shopping
