I can get this laptop for $1359.00 from Bing Lee.
I don’t really need it but would be nice to get a new laptop? Is this a really good deal or should I just wait and hold? Any help is appreciated.

Nah, you can do better than that for a base M1/M2 MBP. Wanting the TouchBar is the only reason to get this over an Air imo, though battery life is a little better, has a fan so performs a little better, but you'd hardly notice anyway.
Seconded- my bro has a the pro, I’ve got the air. Of the price difference is small- go for it. The extra brightness and Touch Bar are the two things I notice most, but very satisfied with my air
Weight is a small con of the pro in comparison
I just upgraded form base M1 MBP 13 inch to base M2 Max 38 core 16 inch and I do miss the touchbar. But I had no choice. If I could have paid extra to get it I would have. They could have put it above the unction keys, there's enough room on the 16 inch.
But most people don't like or don't care about the TouchBar so Air makes more sense if it's a lot cheaper.
How can you get it for that price?
