  • Can you get a normal SIM? I don't have w phone with esim.

    • +1

I believe yes. They said esim available but haven’t said esim only.

    • I just got it and it comes as a normal sim that you can turn into a nano sim

  • That’s $20 per month

    • +2

      For 150gb is not bad.

      • +2

My comment relates to the original post before it was edited to $20 per month for 6 months rather than $20 for 6 months

    • +1

Yeah! Sorry, my apologies. I posted this as @$20 instead of $20pm.

      • I clicked on the link and thought it was $20 for 6 months too. It’s not until you click on buy plan it states $20 per month.

Bit sly of them to promote it this way

Who needs NBN? Well, for 6 months

    • This wouldn't last me a day if I didn't have NBN

    • I go through 150GB in a couple of days on the NBN just using streaming services.

  • Note that the copy paste of rollover is incorrect. That only applies to the $55pm plan still.

  • try to have a look in finder

    Is this company still terrible?

    • +1

Anecdotal, but I’ve had no issues with them.

    • +2

Also anecdotal, but I've been with them for about 2.5 years and have been very happy. Customer service I've found is one of the best.

    • +1

I’ve used them in the past, last year to be exact, when they rolled out $15pm for 45GB during clickfrenzy for new accounts. Optus 4G was incredibly good and their customer service was excellent. No complaints during the use.

Only left them for More to avail their free 3 months offer.

  • Rollover is available on selected plans only, which are available in the mobile app for customers, or available on our website if you’re not already with us.

Does anyone know if data banking works with this plan?

    Edit:

Roll over your unused base data monthly and build up to a massive 500GB. Data will not expire while plan remains the same, but may be lost if plan is upgraded or downgraded.

Before you jump on, please have a read previous posts. https://www.ozbargain.com.au/deals/circles.life 3.5 years later, I still receive messages/emails from debt collectors trying to claim the money that I don't owe this company at all.

I'm here to support your neg. I cannot agree more with your word of warning. Please avoid at all costs.

  • Just a very important information (not sure if it matters for everyone) BUT this is a postpaid sim AND not prepaid (and yes they do a credit check).

    • They didn’t do credit check on me during last year clickfrenzy sale.

I don’t know if that’s a new thing. But if it’s true, I’d rather stay away.

      • They did a credit check for me last year. From your experience, it seems that it may be random!

  • +1

Somewhat unrelated but my $10 5GB/month circles plan is changing into a $15 6GB plan. Man everything really is getting expensive these days. They did throw in a deal to keep it 10 until October.

  • +2

They use optus network and do credit checks

    • Most postpaid services are credit checked, this is normal for postpaid.

  • +1

australians most trusted mobile provider lol, big claims Optus reseller. I've actually had a good run with Vodafone Costco $99 deal

  • Felix unlimited prepaid sims are on sale for $20 at Coles from time to time. Might be a better deal to some.

    • Felix has been half-price for the first 3 months (on all 3 plans) for new customers since late last year, online, no need to go to Coles :)
Just keep in mind the unlimited data plan is capped at a download speed of 20Mbps, which is probably fine for many users.

  • Are there extra charges for exceeding the data allocation or do they stop/shape it?

    • My thoughts also.

Checked the CIS & terms seem to somewhat contradict one another?

      1st Page
      EXCESS DATA
Excess data is charged at $0.01 per 1MB unless you purchase additional Data Boost.

      2nd Page
      DATA
Data included in the plan are for use within Australia only.
Any unused data expires at the end of each billing month.
Data is not automatically added to the allocated data limit if the limit is reached. You will need to apply for a Data Boost if you require more data.
